Exnora Kannan was born on **3 January 1976** in the **Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu, India**. From an early age, he participated in community activities and social initiatives focused on environmental awareness and public welfare.

## Early Career

During his early career in the Nilgiris, Exnora Kannan actively participated in environmental movements and social campaigns. He played an important role in advocating environmental protection and raising awareness about the harmful effects of plastic usage.

He served as the **President of Nilgiris Exnora**, an environmental NGO dedicated to cleanliness and ecological conservation. Through awareness campaigns, public demonstrations, and environmental initiatives, he promoted restrictions on plastic usage in the Nilgiris district.

He also submitted representations to the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, **Dr. J. Jayalalithaa**, requesting stronger regulations to reduce plastic usage and improve environmental sustainability.
